Don't just invite your guests to a party, invite them to your Gin Mill, Speakeasy or 'Club.' For extra fun, in your invitations mention that they must say the password before they will be allowed inside (have a big guy at the entrance to the party checking to make sure that each guest says the password before entry.)

Use 20's period posters (see below for inexpensive resources) to hang around your party area. Allow the winners of different games to choose which poster they'll get to walk away with at the conclusion to the party! Combine decorations with party prizes!

Disguise all drinks with alternate names (as 'alcoholic' drinks were illegal during Prohibition.)

These are great for party settings because they offer entertainment WITHOUT sound (something that can be in the background...enjoyable but unobtrusive!) For a fun way to end the party, have a police raid timed for the conclusion of the party. Have volunteers come dressed as policemen come to break up the party and arrest the host/hostess for the illegal serving of alcoholic beverages!
