Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland

By Lewis Carroll

Chapter 1 – Down the Rabbit Hole

Alice was beginning to get very tired of sitting by her sister on the bank, and of having nothing to do: once or twice she had peeped into the book her sister was reading, but it had no pictures or conversations in it, ‘and what is the use of a book,’ thought Alice ‘without pictures or conversations?’

In another moment down went Alice after it, never once considering how in the world she was to get out again.

The rabbit-hole went straight on like a tunnel for some way, and then dipped suddenly down,

Our antiqued, fairytale paper is delicately laced with a subtle hint of gold in the creases creating an almost magical look. (Although it’s difficult to catch with a camera, you can see in the image below how the shimmering is caught in the light)
