Arizona Diamondbacks posters on the walls to your party -
but they ALSO make for great prizes for any games that you
have planned. To keep the action going throughout the game,
organize a raffle at different times of the game. The first
winner gets first choice of poster on the wall to take home
with him/her. Wait a little while longer and raffle off another
poster. Keep doing this until all of the posters have been
claimed! See below for online poster resources.
the game actually begins, have everyone take a guess as to
how many homeruns the Arizona Diamondbacks will hit before
the game is over. At the end of the game, the one who guessed
the closest without going over wins.
fun invitations, consider buying empty bags of popcorn or
peanuts at your local restaurant supply store. Simply write
all of the party information on the bags, or put them inside
the bags. If you are able to, consider filling the bags with
some Baseball Bingo! You can either make your own cards or
just download them HERE!
your guests on a Baseball themed scavenger hunt! You can either

a game of Run the Bases! In a backyard space (or some other
space outdoors free from breakable obstacles) set out all
four bases (1st, 2nd, 3rd and Home.) You can choose whether
or not the bases are aligned in a typical baseball diamond
or if youd like to arrange them more random. The object
of the game is to run to 1st, then 2nd, then 3rd, then Home
then back to 1st again (repeating as many times as they can
in one minute.) Each player will get a point each time he/she
touches a base as they pass it, not just when they reach home
(otherwise the scores could be too close.) The winner is the
person with the most points after everyone has a chance to
run the bases!
the colors of the Arizona Diamondbacks are red, black and
white, consider getting these colors of construction paper
and creating a paper chain for decorating. This is an activity
that the kids can even get in on (and take over if youre
) They are simple to create - you can get creative,
too, on your color arrangement. For example you can alternate
colors or have several links of one color before changing
to a new color.
youll want to blanket a large space of your party with
their colors, but that can get pretty expensive. For an inexpensive
alternative, pick up a few rolls of cheap wrapping paper in
the Padres colors. These can be used to decorates doorways,
walls and even used to cut out giant letters spelling the
name of the team.
