Cincinnati Bengals Party Ideas

Here’s a fun game that can be played throughout the duration of your party. Cut out a bunch of football images (or players on the Cincinnati Bengals teams - images found online.) You’ll need multiple copies of each image so that multiple party guests can find them. On the backs of each of the images, write a number between 1 and 3. These images will then be hid all throughout your party space. Be sure to hide the images with a 1 on the back in easier places and the ones with a ‘3’ in the most difficult to find places. Explain to your guests that they’ll need to find the images (either footballs or the players) before the party is over. Explain that the winner will be determined not by who found the most, but rather who has the most number of points (the numbers on the backs of the images represent the points earned for finding that image.)

If you’ll be watching the game, ask trivia questions during the commercials about the Cincinnati Colts or the city of Cincinnati in general. The first one to answer the question gets a raffle ticket. After the game is over, hold a raffle for a prize (or prizes) using the raffle tickets everyone earned during the game.

If you are planning on several different games (or a single games where the players are earning points) don’t call them ‘points.’ Instead, refer to them earning ‘yards’ just like in a football game. The winners will be those that get 50 yards from the 50 yard line to make a touchdown!

Visit your local fabric store and purchase a couple yards of fabric that would represent the Cincinnati Bengals (either in colors or in print). Make small sacks from the fabric and fill them with rice, dry beans or gravel. Once tied with a ribbon on top, they make for great weights for helium balloons! They look great as mini table centerpieces and are equally nice to give out to your guests as they leave!

Play a few rounds of football themed Bingo. This is a great activity to play while watching the game during commercial time or every time someone scores during the game. You can either create your own boards or download some HERE.

When purchasing team print napkins and plates, pick up an extra package of each and use them for decoration! They can be some of the least expensive and festive decorations you can use for your party. Napkins that are unfolded can be hung up, place inside clear bowls for centerpieces and taped up just about anywhere. The plates can be hung from the ceiling and the walls. It’s a simple idea, but a great way to add volume to your decorating without breaking the budget (see below for team print napkins and plate options.)
