Colorado Rockies posters look great hanging up around your party area. The great thing is that they also make for awesome game prizes! Have everyone make predictions as to the score after the third, sixth and ninth innings. The person who guesses closest to the real score gets to pick one of the posters to take home with them! See below for online poster resources.

Before the game actually begins, have everyone take a guess as to how many homeruns the Colorado Rockies will hit before the game is over. At the end of the game, the one who guessed the closest without going over wins.

Make your invitations look like game day tickets for an Colorado Rockies game. It’s a perfect format for giving all of the information for your party - the exact time and date for your party!

Play a game of Run the Bases! In a backyard space (or some other space outdoors free from breakable obstacles) set out all four bases (1st, 2nd, 3rd and Home.) You can choose whether or not the bases are aligned in a typical baseball diamond or if you’d like to arrange them more random. The object of the game is to run to 1st, then 2nd, then 3rd, then Home then back to 1st again (repeating as many times as they can in one minute.) Each player will get a point each time he/she touches a base as they pass it, not just when they reach home (otherwise the scores could be too close.) The winner is the person with the most points after everyone has a chance to run the bases!

As the colors of the Colorado Rockies are purple, silver, black and white, consider getting these colors of construction paper and creating a paper chain for decorating. This is an activity that the kids can even get in on (and take over if you’re lucky…) They are simple to create - you can get creative, too, on your color arrangement. For example you can alternate colors or have several links of one color before changing to a new color.

Get your hands one wrapping paper in the team colors. These are great for decorating, creating table place mats, centerpieces, cutting into confetti and for making goodie bags.
