Denver Broncos Party Ideas

Here’s a fun game that can be played throughout the duration of your party. Cut out a bunch of football images (or players on the Denver Broncos teams - images found online.) You’ll need multiple copies of each image so that multiple party guests can find them. On the backs of each of the images, write a number between 1 and 3. These images will then be hid all throughout your party space. Be sure to hide the images with a 1 on the back in easier places and the ones with a ‘3’ in the most difficult to find places. Explain to your guests that they’ll need to find the images (either footballs or the players) before the party is over. Explain that the winner will be determined not by who found the most, but rather who has the most number of points (the numbers on the backs of the images represent the points earned for finding that image.)

Denver Broncos posters make for great party decorations AND party game prizes! They work great for decorations because they can fill a large space with a great image. They can also be turned into prizes for different games that you have planned throughout the party. Simply allow the winner of each successive game to choose which of the posters they’d like to take home at the conclusion to the party. Be sure to put a post-it or sticky-note on each poster as it is chosen so that the new game winners will know which ones are still available. See below for a resource for getting your hands on some Denver Broncos posters.

In honor of the horses of the Denver Broncos, set up a game of horseshoes in the backyard our outside area of your party! For added fun, spray paint the actual horseshoes the colors of the Broncos!

Play a few rounds of football themed Bingo. This is a great activity to play while watching the game during commercial time or every time someone scores during the game. You can either create your own boards or download some HERE.

If you’ll be watching the game, ask trivia questions during the commercials about the Denver Broncos or the city of Denver in general. The first one to answer the question gets a raffle ticket. After the game is over, hold a raffle for a prize (or prizes) using the raffle tickets everyone earned during the game.

Football equipment make for great party decorations - helmets, shoes and balls make for a great table centerpiece arrangement. If you are planning on such a table centerpiece, for fun use a standard turf outdoor doormat for the foundation of the centerpiece!

When purchasing team print napkins and plates, pick up an extra package of each and use them for decoration! They can be some of the least expensive and festive decorations you can use for your party. Napkins that are unfolded can be hung up, place inside clear bowls for centerpieces and taped up just about anywhere. The plates can be hung from the ceiling and the walls. It’s a simple idea, but a great way to add volume to your decorating without breaking the budget (see below for team print napkins and plate options.)

For fun party invitations, write all of the party information on a small piece of paper (small enough if, when rolled up, will fit inside of an uninflated balloon. Insert the rolled papers in Denver Broncos balloons (or their colors) and mail them with instructions for your party guest to blow up the balloon and pop it in order to get the party info! It’s a party invitation with a bang!
