your party into an East High School Prom! Send out special
invitations inviting your guests to this year's senior prom
where a Prom King and Queen will be crowned (based on games
that you have planned for your party.) At the door to your
party, have corasages and boutonnières for your guests
to wear at the prom.
sports minded? Invite your guests to an East High School Pep
Rally. Have cheering contests by dividing the guests into
two sections to see who can cheer for the Wildcats the loudest!
At the door, pass out pom poms to your guests for showing
their Wildcat spirit!
THROW AWAY THE PARTY DECORATIONS! - Save money and do something
your guests will LOVE! GIVE AWAY your party decorations! Use
High School Musical posters (see below for inexpensive resources)
to hang around your party area. Allow the winners of different
games to choose which poster they'll get to walk away with
at the conclusion to the party! Combine decorations with party
up the activities into time slots like a normal high school
schedule (i.e. Science class, Math class, PE, break, lunch,
after school drama practice, etc.)

PASSING THE NOTES IN CLASS - a variation of Hot Potato where
you play songs from the movie while the participants pass
a note around in a circle. When the music stops, whoever is
holding the note gets 'busted by the teacher' and is out.
the party with graduation pictures. Ask around to friends
and family for those with children who recently graduated
(who would have a cap and gown that you could borrow.) Then,
have them get their pictures taken with different life sized
cardboard cutouts from the cast of High School Musical (see
below for resources for the cast cut outs)
