Nascar Party Ideas
Visit your local fabric store and purchase some yardage of black/white checkered material. This looks great as a table cloth, napkins or simply as swags around the party area. If you are handy with a sewing machine, you can make simple finish flags out of it for decorating all over the party area or just around the food.
Hang a big sign saying PIT STOP around the food!
Organize all different sorts of races for interim activities (running, obstacle courses, even EATING races!
For a fun activity for the children, provide each child with a box and have them decorate each like a racecar! Provide them with markers, construction paper and crayons. If you are ambitious enough, you can paint each box first bold, bright colors so that they can get a head start on their decorating! These are also fun for the children to eat in!
DON'T THROW AWAY THE PARTY DECORATIONS! - Save money and do something your guests will LOVE! GIVE AWAY your party decorations! Use Nascar posters (see below for inexpensive resources) to hang around your party area. Allow the winners of different games to choose which poster they'll get to walk away with at the conclusion to the party! Combine decorations with party prizes!
