Heres
a fun game that can be played throughout the duration of your
party. Cut out a bunch of football images (or players on the
San Francisco 49ers teams - images found online.) Youll
need multiple copies of each image so that multiple party
guests can find them. On the backs of each of the images,
write a number between 1 and 3. These images will then be
hid all throughout your party space. Be sure to hide the images
with a 1 on the back in easier places and the ones with a
3 in the most difficult to find places. Explain
to your guests that theyll need to find the images (either
footballs or the players) before the party is over. Explain
that the winner will be determined not by who found the most,
but rather who has the most number of points (the numbers
on the backs of the images represent the points earned for
finding that image.)
San
Francisco 49ers game posters make for great decorations AND
they can even double as prizes for any games that you have
planned for your party. Hang the posters in very visible spots
throughout your party area. Each time someone wins one of
your games, allow them to choose from one of the posters on
the wall that hasnt already been chosen by a previous
winner. Typically, you need to throw away the decorations
at the end of a party
not this time! Your guests will
be able to happily take them home with them! See below for
a resource for getting your hands on some San Francisco 49ers
posters.
Play
a few rounds of football themed Bingo. This is a great activity
to play while watching the game during commercial time or
every time someone scores during the game. You can either
create your own boards or download some HERE.
Use
aluminum pie tins and gravel as part of your table centerpiece,
right out of a prospector camp. Take a handful of gravel ahead
of time and spray paint them gold first. Intersperse these
with the other gravel rocks for a great looking centerpiece!
Outside
your front door set up a small campground set up with tent,
fire pit and a few digging tools (pickax, shovel, etc.) It
will look like a prospectors camp site!
Get
a few large rocks and spray paint them gold. These are great
to use as part of a large centerpiece you have planned on
your table. The 49ers were prospectors looking for gold!
Get
the kids involved and make a paper chain using the San Francisco
49ers colors. Cut the construction paper in strips and loop
each strip, connecting the ends with either staples or tape.
Have fun coming up with different combination of colors alternating
in groups or every other loop. Its inexpensive and easy
and they look great!
When
purchasing team print napkins and plates, pick up an extra
package of each and use them for decoration! They can be some
of the least expensive and festive decorations you can use
for your party. Napkins that are unfolded can be hung up,
place inside clear bowls for centerpieces and taped up just
about anywhere. The plates can be hung from the ceiling and
the walls. Its a simple idea, but a great way to add
volume to your decorating without breaking the budget (see
below for team print napkins and plate options.)
