Hang Seattle Mariners posters on the walls to your party - but they ALSO make for great prizes for any games that you have planned. To keep the action going throughout the game, organize a raffle at different times of the game. The first winner gets first choice of poster on the wall to take home with him/her. Wait a little while longer and raffle off another poster. Keep doing this until all of the posters have been claimed! See below for online poster resources.

Before the game actually begins, have everyone take a guess as to how many homeruns the Seattle Mariners will hit before the game is over. At the end of the game, the one who guessed the closest without going over wins.

For fun party invitations, use Seattle Mariners baseball cards! You can either put a single baseball card inside the envelope with each party invitation you mail out OR you can put the information ON the card itself. Print all of the information out on a separate piece of paper first and glue the info onto the backs of each of the cards…all ready to be handed out!

Play a game of Run the Bases! In a backyard space (or some other space outdoors free from breakable obstacles) set out all four bases (1st, 2nd, 3rd and Home.) You can choose whether or not the bases are aligned in a typical baseball diamond or if you’d like to arrange them more random. The object of the game is to run to 1st, then 2nd, then 3rd, then Home then back to 1st again (repeating as many times as they can in one minute.) Each player will get a point each time he/she touches a base as they pass it, not just when they reach home (otherwise the scores could be too close.) The winner is the person with the most points after everyone has a chance to run the bases!

As the team colors for the Seattle Mariners are navy, northwest green, metallic silver and white - be sure to decorate all you can in these colors. A handy trick to blanket the space in the colors is to visit your local fabric store and buy a few lengths of fabric in those colors. You might even be able to find prints representing the Seattle Mariners (if you live in that city). Many things can be done with the fabric such as draping it in swags along windows, adding depth of color to table cloths, even cutting into napkins!

Get your hands one wrapping paper in the team colors. These are great for decorating, creating table place mats, centerpieces, cutting into confetti and for making goodie bags.
