Use
rock crystal candy for cake decorations or goodie bag gifts.
Use white crystal for Superman's fortress of solitude and
his learning crystals. Green crystals can be Kryptonite. If
you put the crystals on top of a cake, you can put small action
figures with them and make a Superman "scene" on
the cake.
Get
a gray or black foam tube - you should be able to find them
easily in a plumbing department - the hot water pipe insulation.
If you aren't too close to the camera, then the foam will
look like a solid bar. Have your guests pose for a picture
bending the metal bar.
DON'T
THROW AWAY THE PARTY DECORATIONS! - Save money and do something
your guests will LOVE! GIVE AWAY your party decorations! Use
Superman posters (see below for inexpensive resources) to
hang around your party area. Allow the winners of different
games to choose which poster they'll get to walk away with
at the conclusion to the party! Combine decorations with party
prizes!
Meteor
decorations! Use medium to large garden rocks and spray paint
them yellow-green, red, blue, even fluorescent-colored paint
would be great. To really go for “authenticity”
go to a stage and lighting company and get green or yellow
black-light paint. Then you can put these rocks near a black-light
bulb and they’ll glow ominously for your guests! It looks
AMAZING and the kids will go crazy for it! These are great
for decoration (i.e. as table centerpieces, etc.) but you
could also use them during a treasure hunt or in the villain’s
lair to keep the heroes away.
